well i have moved a few of the fish around today due to them outgrowing their tank so had on empty
so put a few baby koi in im hoping the warmer temp will help them grow a little quicker
i have still got a few in the tank out side
not easy taking pics of babies they move at the speed of light

They are looking good Saph, mine have slowed down a lot growth wise since I stopped heating them, I am going to make a holding net and put them in the garage pond

liz what would you use for the net?
as im thinking of doing something like that myself just dont know what to use for the net

I got some fine mesh net off ebay and I already have a big floating net frame but the net holes are too big at the moment the smaller ones would just swim out, so I will just line it for now I think - I will post a pic when I do it - just can't get round to it dunno

I tried a couple of test pilots (14) in the net last night - just going to see how they got on................. they look fine.. but I dont think they will all fit in dunno

well they are growing allbe it slowly some are bigger the others and the ones i still have out side are growing will bring them in over the week end

I may have to bring the rest of mine in, as the 200g tank has started leaking after the frost the other night

hi liz
i have just had a look at said baby and there is nothing there not a blemish
the only thing i can think of is its slightly metallic so thinking the flash has reflected
and i cant see it on the other pics same fish in the background in pic 2 i think its pic 2 lol

i moved the rest of the babies indoors today moved the bigger babies upstairs to the bigger tank

they have got fat wee tummies lol

I have 13 fry (unlucky for some!) indoors.... I am sure I had more! and I have the rest outdoors - they fry are all still eating like mad indoors and out, I am doing water changes outside and they look like they are growing too - hard to tell when you see them every day and compared to the big koi they are still tiny lol
