right this is how it started
the built in uv on my goldies filter popped and fried the uv and the unit it went into so i knew the cost of the build which is £30 i thought how chuffin much was the unit gonna cost so thought sod its october it will be fine till next year, how wrong was i all thought winter and covered had nothing but green water i left it while it was covered but it had to be sorted when i uncovered it bought a 9 watt tmc, so fitted it,cleaned the filter (which i was doing regular anyway)and a water change of 50 % and withing a week it had cleared up lovely
